Plymouth band AlBenAza describe themselves as a rock/roots/acoustic trio.
As a band they play a mixture of rock, reggae and acoustic ditties, all layered with tight vocal harmonies. All three are guitar-playing singer-songwriters, so there's no one lead singer - Al, Ben and Aza take turns as front man while the others provide the rhythm section.

Check them out! Wow!
The biog from their myspace page is a great description:
Sangreal are Plymouth lads Simon Anning, Matt Anning, Jamie Anning, Rob Yeats. The band got together in early 2005 to embrace the kind of music which has dominated the British chart since the early 60's. Aswell as possessing a highly compulsive and energetic live show, Sangreal are obsessively chasing the riff orientated rock of The Stones, the anthemic voice of Oasis and the groove of early 80's new wave, as a band intent on forging these influences into their own recognisably mainstream sound.

Fantastic!
Their blurb describes them as
"A UK guitar band whose performances bristle with energy and self belief, ELEVEN LIVES LEFT are a band of singular identity and collective spirit. The four-piece stake their claim on a piece of your headspace with meathook melodies and an unbridled enthusiasm for performing live.".
They're releasing their debut album in 2007 and have been getting tonnes of exposure... we've a good feeling about these guys.
Have a look at their official website at elevenlivesleft.co.uk
Although it seemed to be down when I tried visiting, so also check out their myspace page:

Plymouth's Full Speed Alone (FSA) describe themselves as a 'song driven rock band'.
'Up tempo songs with a thought provoking (and often twisted) lyrical content'. Yeah, that's what we like to hear.
They're often gigging around Plymouth, including The Hub and The Junction.

Their standard biog description reads:
"Plymouth based Sam Johnson and Alex Turner have been writing music since 2004 and have already recorded four tracks, with several more in preparation, for their debut Album.
They play Electro-acoustic guitars and have developed their own distinct style.
Musical influences include: Coldplay, and Turin Brakes..."
Although only having four tracks available at present, they are all great tracks:
Drowning (which we played in our first podcast), Impulsive Thinking, The Good Boys and You Know Me.
We've heard they have been recording more tracks in London, and we can't wait to hear some more stuff from these guys...
